Home is a feeling of safety, it is where you feel loved and a part of something. It may be a mother’s hands, the breeze of bread, the taste of dust. It is where you are held for being who you are. We all have our own ideas of home, we shape it every day.
Not all of us grew up with all the aspects of home - some of us may have fled our homes, some of us were taken away from them, most of us have had them colonized and grabbed from beneath us. Home is our bodies, and how it feels to be in a body that does not feel exactly like home. Where do we find our homes? What does home mean to us? What kind of home do we see for us in the future? We gather and we imagine, and from our dreams we create home anew.
